1.
desperate hearts, cry as one clinging to their waning hopes multitudes of existence, pining for their terminus the fever breaks at last, as the thought is given form the Question put to task in a new enlightened dawn "the catalyst by which we facilitate renewal becomes the impetus causing all this to unravel" the new enlightened host and the dark that it rebukes will all be cast aside for a new form to be given Hail! The new dawn! the fabric tears betwixt, and the torche's light renewed held aloft, assuming new paths the light has given a new voice cries out shrill, to abate the coming storm to cast aspersions on the illusion of our heaven
2.
limbs sway aloft in the breadth of old hope courage given way to cowardice light begins to fade in the throes of the storm the multitude abates by the brunt of it's force penitent pleas unheralded; cries for respite; the gale unmoved truths have been gleaned in the wake of this destruction the torrent, undaunted, dismantles the host divided and confined, cast out from our havens the winds swallow our words, languished, defeated “I am afraid in losing my confidant this whole will never be consummate” hope has abandoned me
3.
“I’ve laid to rest this fading light; borne from our forebears naivety. Darkness enveloping, endless dirac sea Negative space embracing the infinite. Embers all burned to ash, A final plea for sanctuary. Primordial spark extinguished Dissolve to nothing, ceaseless duress.” Fires once burned in our throats, Mouths now choked with ashes. Languid skin draped over desiccated bone Last gasps dissolved in the abyss.
4.
Empty vessels, Void of perception Phantom limbs twitch and stutter, Emotional tinnitus. The pain will never dissipate. “rend this veil, tear this flesh, begin anew, fill this hollow” Ceaseless duress
5.
vehement indictments, directionless vitriol gnashing teeth, tearing muscle tissue fragmented thoughts, myriad fractures ‘this plane is fustian, life squandered transient being, rest in solitude”
6.
static warmth creeps over the Body drifting apart, dissolving like earth under the breaking of waves spreading to cover the expanse a return to formlessness day breaks

about

Reviews:

7.7/10 - www.metaltrenches.com

Tracks are progressions of pounding drums and repetitive guitar licks to an ever-growing tidal wave of sound. Long instrumental passages pave the way in advance for the hardcore vocal performances. [...] Ostrov creates a journey through the light and the dark. Through the mind of someone seeking redemption while still steeped in bitterness and self-doubt. - MetalTrenches

"Doomy, post-metal with a blackened-hardcore sheen creates a visceral, yet diverse, listen. The opening track "Interstice I: Hope Lies Betwixt" lulls the listener into a meditative state, similar to Neurosis' quieter songs. The mellow ambiance continues through the second track "A Plea for Respite (Unfulfilled/Unrequited)" until the half way point, when it breaks into full on, bat-out-of-hell, black metal worship. The vocal delivery isn't screamed for the sake of it; there is actual emotive drive behind the yells. It's this dynamic between introspective passages and barbaric ass-kicking that makes Ostrov stand out." - thetruthmetalreviews
