desperate hearts, cry as one
clinging to their waning hopes
multitudes of existence, pining for their terminus

the fever breaks at last, as the thought is given form
the Question put to task in a new enlightened dawn
"the catalyst by which we facilitate renewal
becomes the impetus causing all this to unravel"
the new enlightened host and the dark that it rebukes
will all be cast aside for a new form to be given
Hail! The new dawn!

the fabric tears betwixt, and the torche's light renewed
held aloft, assuming new paths the light has given
a new voice cries out shrill, to abate the coming storm
to cast aspersions on the illusion of our heaven
